The Willingness to Pay a Premium for a Garment Made With A Living Wage
My research into consumers’ WTP a premium for clothing made with a living wage guarantee reveals that on average, the premium is in excess of what is needed to provide a living wage. Nonetheless, payment of a living wage to garment workers and others at the start of the supply chain remains the exception in the current apparel landscape due to many factors discussed in the literature review.
